A note from Tee
There wasn’t an empty calendar.
We didn’t have an empty calendar when we started By Tee. My husband and I both had professional careers, and we wanted to build something we could call our own. So we began where we were, alongside the rest of life.
I’m Tee, and my working day is in Traffic Engineering. Building a brand alongside that is exciting and sometimes overwhelming. There’s the pleasure of seeing an idea become real, and then there’s the workday that still needs our attention.
Two different ways of showing up.
I think of myself as the face of By Tee and my husband as our behind-the-scenes backbone. You’ll see more of my taste and personality here, while much of his work happens out of view. Both are part of what makes this ours.
We rely on each other. Different roles, the same care for what we’re building.
Comfort has a real place here.
My love of fashion and beauty started long before By Tee, with a little inspiration from my mother’s love of glamour. These days, I’m just as appreciative of a loose tee, a good hoodie and that moment when I can finally relax after work.
“Everyday comfort with style” is how I want to feel in my own clothes. It’s what we keep coming back to when we think about yours.
What we want to keep as we grow.
We want By Tee to become a name people naturally connect with comfortable everyday clothing. We also want the thought behind each piece to stay visible. We’re clear about one thing: we don’t want growth to come at the expense of quality.
For now, we’re building alongside the rest of life. A shared project, with plenty of work still ahead—and a lot of ourselves in it.
